• Welfare Society organized an Awareness Camp against Child Marriage with the aim of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of this social evil. The event brought together community members, youth, parents, and local leaders to discuss the importance of protecting children’s rights and ensuring that every child enjoys a safe and healthy childhood.

During the program, A.P.Verma (Founder & President) & Adv.Gulashan Arora (General Secretary), highlighted that child marriage not only violates children’s rights but also affects their education, health, and overall development. Participants were informed about the legal age for marriage under Indian law and the severe penalties for those who promote or support child marriage.

The camp included interactive sessions, street plays, and poster exhibitions to encourage people to take a stand against this practice. Volunteers of Navsamaj Welfare Society motivated villagers to report any case of child marriage and to ensure that both boys and girls complete their education before marriage.

The organization reaffirmed its commitment to building a society where every child is free from exploitation and has equal opportunities to learn and grow. The event concluded with a pledge from all attendees to work together in eradicating child marriage from their communities.
