“BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO”

Navsamaj Welfare Society organized an awareness program on the theme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” with the objective of promoting the importance of saving and educating the girl child. The program was conducted to spread awareness among the community about gender equality, girls’ education, and the need to eliminate social evils such as female foeticide and discrimination against girls.

The program witnessed active participation from community members, women, youth, and children. Volunteers and social workers of Navsamaj Welfare Society addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of educating girls for the overall development of society. They emphasized that educating a girl means educating an entire family and future generations.

Navsamaj Welfare Society also appealed to the community to actively support government initiatives aimed at the welfare of the girl child and to stand against practices like child marriage and gender discrimination. The program concluded with a pledge by participants to protect, respect, and educate girls, recognizing them as equal contributors to society.
