Welfare Society organized an awareness programme on Child Rights and Education to create awareness among children, parents, and community members about the importance of education, protection, and the overall development of children.

The programme focused on the basic rights of every child, including the right to education, right to protection, right to health and nutrition, right to equality, and the right to live with dignity and without discrimination. The participants were informed that every child deserves a safe, supportive, and healthy environment in which they can learn, grow, and develop their abilities.

During the awareness programme, the importance of education was highlighted as a powerful tool for improving the future of children and their families. Parents were encouraged to ensure that their children attend school regularly and are provided with adequate support for their studies. Special attention was given to children from economically disadvantaged communities, who may face barriers to accessing quality education.

The programme also addressed issues such as child labour, child marriage, school dropouts, discrimination, and violence against children. Community members were encouraged to identify and prevent situations that may threaten the safety, education, and well-being of children. They were also made aware of the importance of reporting cases of child exploitation and abuse to the appropriate authorities.
