Navsamaj Welfare Society Distributed Ration Among Roadside Needy People

Navsamaj Welfare Society organized a Ration Distribution Program for needy and underprivileged people living beside the roads. The initiative was conducted with the aim of helping homeless individuals, rickshaw pullers, daily wage workers, and other economically weaker sections who struggle to arrange food for their families.

Hunger remains a major problem for many poor families and homeless people in India. Many people who work as daily wage laborers or live on the streets often do not have a stable source of income and sometimes go to bed hungry. Social organizations and NGOs play an important role in addressing this issue by distributing food and ration kits to the needy. Such initiatives help ensure that vulnerable people receive essential food supplies and support during difficult times.

Keeping this humanitarian responsibility in mind, volunteers and members of Navsamaj Welfare Society came together and organized the ration distribution drive. During the program, ration kits containing essential food items such as rice, wheat flour, pulses, cooking oil, salt, sugar, and other daily necessities were distributed among the roadside people. These items help families meet their basic food requirements for several days.
